Son of Secrets Blog Tour
Hi everyone, First up, apologies once again for the absence. I had hoped to get back into blogging a lot earlier, but there’s been a lot of personal stuff going on regarding the Coronavirus and to be honest I’ve been feeling mostly just completely unmoored recently. I’ve been trying to write, but my brain has just felt so foggy and thoughts don’t seem to be coming well to me, so I decided to take a bit of a break to try and recharge and not push myself to do things that might impact negatively on my mental health. There’s been a lot going on in the world in the last…

The Path Keeper Blog Tour
The Path Keeper by N.J. Simmonds Hey everyone, I’m here today doing my part as a stop on The Path Keeper blog tour! The Path Keeper is the first book in N.J. Simmond’s Indigo Chronicles series. I was fortunate enough to get to catch up with NJ last year at YALC, and I managed to do a quick interview with her amidst all the chaos. Also, as a special bonus feature, we’re all holding a special competition: Read on to the end of my post to get the next letter in the phrase. From Goodreads: What if every coincidence was a tiny miracle? What if our life was already mapped out before birth?…

Book Blog Tour: Review of Dear Mr Pop Star
Hey everyone, So today, I’m bringing you a very special book review of the latest book by writing duo Derek and Dave Philpott. The concept of this one is a little bit wacky. Basically, for the last decade or so, Derek and Dave have been sending letters to famous pop stars, filled with bizarre and often ridiculous concerns. Most of them are really very witty, especially if you happen to have a fair knowledge of the musicians and songs they reference. Even more amusing, despite the odd letters the two have sent to pop stars from the 60’s to the 90’s, the musicians have often written back. Some of them…

Hey everyone, So today I’m going to be bringing you all a wonderful sneak peek of Killing It by Asia Mackay. Every working mum has had to face it. The guilt-fuelled, anxiety-filled first day back in the office after maternity leave. But this working mum is one of a kind. Meet Alexis Tyler. An elite covert agent within Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Her first project back is a high-stakes hit of global significance and the old boys network of government espionage is far from ready for the return of an operational mother. Theatrical Blog Tour
Hey everyone, Today I’m the first stop on the blog tour for Maggie Harcourt’s new book Theatrical. The book follows Hope, as she interns on a major stage production at the theatre of her dreams. But with a distracting romance, lots of responsibility, a stroppy Hollywood star and a juicy secret Hope is determined to keep under wraps, she’s finding it hard to keep her cool. If you’ve seen my blog in the last week or so, you’ll know how much I LOVED this book. My review is here in case anyone wants to check that out, and I’ll be uploading a YouTube review of it soon too, if anyone is interested.…

Thursday Updates
Woo, hello everyone. Usually, I’d be posting a tag, unboxing or some kind of article today, but I have so many announcements that I thought I’d be a boring person and update you on all the exciting things coming up instead. *insert drum roll here* So the first thing I want to announce is that this blog will be part of the official Ash Princess blog tour. If you haven’t read the book yet, or have yet to pre-order it, you should definitely check out my review of it here. Female Heroes: Josephine Baker
When I was first approached to read and review Orphan, Monster, Spy, I was quite taken aback by the offer. I’d only done a little blogging before, and it was a big opportunity for me. Naturally, I took the chance, and decided to do the review. And I’m very pleased that I did. Matt Killeen’s debut is great for fans of The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak, and comes highly recommended by me, as you can see from my review. The book was wonderful and unique, fast-paced and riveting, and I’m so pleased that I can now say that I have the author, Matt Killeen, here on his book blog tour to talk about one…

Exciting news guys…
Join me, on March 3rd, as I host Orphan, Monster, Spy author, Matt Killeen. He’ll be stopping by on his book blog tour to talk favourite female heroines [historical and fictional]. Other stops along the way can be found at the bottom of this post. I’m so excited to have gotten my mitts on an ARC of Matt’s novel earlier in the year, and it was such a fun read, so it’ll be awesome to hear his thoughts on heroines like Sarah, a Jewish girl in Nazi Germany who must survive as a spy in a boarding school for the daughters of high-ranking Nazi officials. You can read my review of the…
